PORTRAITS
Bottom Row Left Photo:
Lighting:
The light is coming from both sides. From the left the blue light is shinning on her face and from the right the red light is coming in onto her back. In the middle of these two lights are dark, almost black shadows on her hair.
Position of the Model:
The model is turned to the side. This photo is candid it shows half of her face and upper torso.
Position of Camera:
The photo was taken horizontal. My point of view was straight on and I wasn't to far away from the model but just enough to get her head and upper torso.
Impact/ Expression:
The lighting and position of the model communicates relaxation. Her hand is on her head, face serious, looking into the distance. Its more of a serious photo.
Compare and Contrast:
This photo compared to the photo of in the top row middle is much different but has some similarities. The top photo has one color lighting with a mix of shadows. It was taken straight on but from a upward angle. His face and position communicates humor and skill, as he spins the ball on his hand. The photo does have relaxation in common. Felicity in the bottom photo seems relaxed and not posed, as well as Nick in the top photo. He is slouched back and portrays no care in the world.

Middle Photo:
Where is the light coming from?
The light is coming from the top of the photo, this is because the sky is above. The lighting in this photo is natural light.
What is the position or gesture of the model?
There are three models all standing above the photographer. The position of the models is they are just standing straight up in a circle.
What is the background or setting?
The background is the sky which means the setting is taken place outside somewhere.
What is the point of view and distance of the photographer?
The point of view is a slight angle but below the models. The photographer is at the models feet. However, since she's taking the photo at a slight angle she gets mid thigh and up from one model, torso and up from another model, and head and up from the last model.
What does the lighting, position of model and expression on face communicate?
The lighting, position of model, and expression on their faces communicate a group of friends having a conversation on a sunny day outside. However, their faces don't show smiles, they show confusion or discomfort. This means the models could have been having a more "serious" conversation or interaction within one another.
